I can’t seem to locate it right now but know that it exists as I saw it on a CBS or NBC special about a month after the race. I think I may have it on my DVR. I’ll check. It had several interviews with PL and Burgmister. It also showed the epic battle on the last sever laps between Long & Hand in the BMW! I believe Patrick ended up beating him by something like 1.6 sec after 6 hours of racing. Crazy stuff. The best part was that two days latter I had the opportunity to hang with PL and he gave me the blow by blow! He was very excited, told me it was one of his most satisfying wins of his career

My feelings are mixed on what occured between the last turn and straight away. I know Mag 'loosened' Berg up but the retaliation was a bit overboard. Bumping and grinding it out on a competitive level like this is expected at 10/10ths. I feel if Mag was injured or killed in this situation people would have a different opinion (remember 2 wrongs don't make a right).

I agree with the v8 from the c6R counding beastly..... too bad they downgraded to a 5.5L--->7.0L for the class change

I witnessed first hand Mosport 2010 the whole weekend; Great weather, awesome competition and gates of hell sounds.... from the hellish shreak of the Ferrari's to the beastly snarl of the American muscle.

 

The corner at about 4:09 was pretty epic.

Jamie Melo can be credited for that awesome finish. "Screw me once shame on you. screw me twice shame on me" I remember watching that live and cheering for Berg to drive him into the wall. I remember being on the other end in 2007 when Jamie did that to Jorg. If Jamie can do it to Berg in 2007 Sebring with no penatlty then Berg can too!

I know someone asked what happened to both drivers. They were put on probabtion for first few races of the next year. The teams also set the driver line ups so Berg and Mag were not on track at the same time to avoid bad blood coming out!
