I think both cars are available all over the country.
Interesting information. I've talked to nearly ten dealers in CA and all have told me they can't order a GT3 for me....

If you have some info about specific dealers with allocations I'd appreciate the assistance.

BTW: Good Cheer and Happy Holidays to the ladies/gents here

Hi GTbeowulf,

I am buying from Porsche of Omaha, they can get a GT3 for you. I was also talking to Sunflowers Motors and Aristocrat Motors both in Kansas (Topeka and outskirt of Kansas City)
I will ask my dealer in a minute and get back to you with some specifics.

Hi GTboewulf, I cannot send a PM to you since I do not have 15 posts or something. I do not think I can just post his email address.

Okay, thanks. If you've had a good experience with the Omaha Dealer I can give them a call. Who's your salesperson?

Things are looking favorable. I have two dealers I'm discussing the GT3 allocation.
Brian Weisenberg is a great guy and very knowledgeable.
I expect to finalize my deal tomorrow. I'm pending some additional info to see
who I will purchase from.

THANKS TO ALL!!!!

EUREKA!

The Deal is done with Omaha Porsche (Brian Weisenberg).
GT3 is GT Silver -- my favorite color.... specs to follow.
AND it will be European Delivery

Kudos to IRguy/ KYROCKS for your invaluable insight!

I'll eventually post pics of the car in it's native environment.

Ok, here's the GT3 build so far:
U2 GT Silver Metallic
78 Black Full Leather
140 Dynamic Engine Mounts
430 19'' GT3 centerlocks
346 Wheels Painted Silver
509 Fire Extinguisher (lol)
CET Door Opener Trim Painted Ext. Color
P01 Adaptive Seats
XME Rear Center Console Ext. Color
841 Three Spoke Steering Wheel/ Smooth Leather Finish
EZA Interior Package Carbon
490 Sound Package Plus
P23 PCM 3.0 w/ Extended Navigation
+ European Delivery

My build rationale is that the car will be driven on weekends and 12-14 track days so it needed some comfort/aesthetic items also.

Does anyone know if the door pulls can be painted in exterior color?
Any other recommendations are appreciated.

I assume when you say "door pulls", you mean door handles on the inside. Yes, they can be painted exterior color - I think it's $550. I think the door opener trim in exterior color will suffice, though. I've included a couple of pics of my interior showing the door opener trim.

Also, it seems Porsche may have run out of the standard sport seats and has been putting in the adaptive seats on most orders. I ordered the standard seats and got free adaptive seats as many other recent GT3 orders. This saves about 3 grand. Porsche, of course, will never admit to this so if you absolutely want the adaptive seats you'll just have to pay for them. Dynamic engine mounts are a must and I'm glad you picked them. The sound system in the GT3 sucks in comparison to the upgraded Bose system of the other 911s, but this is okay because it is a track car, not a luxury cruiser. PCM is a personal decision. Both my Porsches have dynamic cornering lights and I think they make a huge difference at night and the way the headlights look in the daytime (pic attached). Overall, I think the best GT3s are the ones that are not loaded. Good choice in options. Remember, the more you think about options, the more you are going to add!
