Nice change the wheels to black, add some more carbon, add yellow dev stitching, and lose the xm junk and I think I am looking at my car.
Kind of sucks that they are sitting on showroom floors in canada and I still have a month to wait here in the US before I see mine.
I think Porsche had best intentions with the delivery program for this car, however execution has been a bit lack luster. I really can complain that much. they did allow me to modify my delivery considerably.
Interesting on the exhaust. wonder what the performance impact is with the GMG.
Is anyone aware of a better exhaust option for this car. Bit reluctant to un bolt titanium for something that just makes noise without a performance gain

I had a GMG on my 08 GT2 and it works on the 2 RS. Glorious sound. It's not the exhaust so much as it is the Euro style cats. That's the HP help. You get them with the GMG model.

I got to spend a good deal of time underneath a new GT2RS at a Dealership in Canada tonight, I inspected the suspension in detail and took a number of pictures.
The front suspension was two piece lower control arms with rubber inner bushings and thrust arm bushings. Front sway bar was multi adjustable as well.
Rear subframe is solidly mounted with aluminum bushings as can be seen in one of the pictures. The rear lower control arms had spherical bearing inner mounts with a soft rubber dust cover, thrust arm bushings were the same as the front rubber ones. (look no different then the ones on my 996TT). The rear toe arm inner mounts are spherical with the same style soft rubber dust cover. Couldn't tell with the dog bones but they looked to be GT3 parts, was told they were spherical with dust covers but couldn't 'feel' them for myself like the rear lower control arms.
Rear Toe Link
Rear Suspension
Rear subframe mount
Case was etched with 'GT-3' as well towards the back, missed from the picture.
Front suspension
Exhaust muffler was a titanium piece with 'Akrapovic' marked on it, the cats were SS as were the pipes leading into the muffler. Somehow I didn't get a picture of that piece.

Basic thanks for the pictures
last picture - is that a bolt on exhaust tip? eeeeeeeeessssssssshhhhhhhh
thats going to have to be changed.
Put a sticker on the hood to save weight but add bolt on exhaust tips. I am new to this. am I missing something?

Yeah you are. You've never seen the exhaust on a GT2. The pipe is clamped tightly to the other pipe. Was the same on the 08 GT2. The clamp is extra insurance because the heat gets way way way up there, and different metals are involved, which expand at different rates.

Thanks - the only one I have seen is the GMG which as I recall does not have the clamp. Its been some time. GMG's site has some good pictures of the existing system. Will have to call them to see whats up.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have a GMG in my garage and it has the pipe clamp as well. The tips are welded to a pipe, and then the pipe has a 45 bend to the collector, where there is a clamp. I've installed it and messed with it.

same with the fabspeed ,using clamps allows for perfect align of the exhaust
