997.2 GT3/GT3 RS Brake Rotors?

So, I've got exactly 10 track days on my 2010 GT3 and the steel rotors are starting to look pretty sad. Lots of cracks radiating from the venting holes. I figure they are good for another couple of weekend events, but that's about it.

I've been poking around on vendor web sites and this forum looking for replacements. Brembo's floating 2pc is what I've got on my BMW M3 and they've served me very well. I also see many Porsche folks like the GiroDisc. They appear to be extremely similar to the Brembo's I have. One thing is for sure - I will only buy the slotted rotors. No more cross drilled!

My frustration is that I can't seem to find the right size for the fronts. The OE rotor is Ø380mm, but all I'm finding is Ø350mm instead (that seems to be the correct size for the 997.1 GT3).

Can anyone help me out to source these rotors?

Girodisc has not released theirs yet. They said they are still in testing.

Brembo makes some replacements but are really expensive.

The stock rotors are fairly reasonable compared with the aftermarket stuff.

Suncoast has the stock rotors on their website.

The slotted Brembos are expensive, but claim to be more durable than the stock rotors and save about 3 pounds per corner. I replaced my front rotors with OEM stock mid Summer this year. I was thinking that when I have to replce the rears, I would upgrade all four corners to the Brembos.

Yep got them. They make a HUGE difference but are a little more of investment up front. With the McLaren hardware that is patented and for use with Brembo discs, they will give you the best braking.

Just an FYI on the Brembo rotors, the McLaren hardware allows only the rotor to be the consumable item. Other knock off hardware designs will mean you have to replace the hat as well. The Brembo disk made in Italy will last 3 times longer then an OEM disk as well.
