My old cayman I think I changed every 20k or so..

thanks.

Assuming they're MPSC's, they're more than likely done at 11K miles. Pics would help.

Yep... even PS2's are starting to wear pretty good at 11K if you drive hard.

Look into the Bridgestone Re-11. They are a great tire for both wet and dry performance that you can also use at the track. They are much cheaper then the PS2 or MPSC also.

personally, can't imagine getting 11k out of a set of mpsc's. most i know get around 5k or less. mine lasted 5k with no track days at that time. switched to re-11's and have about 13k and the rears about to need replacement. re-11's are much cheaper and are great street tires, dry or wet. as noted above, good on track also.

RE-11s are cheap and decent but very heavy and not N rated. I've got a set on my Turbo and done maybe 10k plus a few track days in the rain. They still look great. The weight is suboptimal though.

Exactly. If you have 11K miles count yourself lucky. Very lucky. I have 11.5k on my 10 GT3 and am on my second set of Cups, ready for a 3rd and recently went to a set of PS2's on GMG wheels for street use.

I set a new record with 11k on MPSC tires at the dealer.
I'm looking for an alternative to the MPSC since I dont track the car that much.
The ps2's according to the dealer will be discontinued in 6-12 months...which could pose a problem in the future if I need to replace just one tire with balance issues.
He recommended the pirellis' P0 tires...has anyone heard of these tires? are they good street tires? Im looking for something thats N rated.

thanks..

getting 11k out of mpsc must be longevity record especially if you drive hard. the other oem N spec tire for gt3 is perilli corsa system but i heard these are being discontinued as well. they should last a bit longer than mpsc. although 11k is hard to beat.
