Thanks for the photos and weights! OK, this may sound strange but you may have a ground clearance issue. The way those cats are hanging so low below the header pipes .... Werd. I am sure this is just my imagination though.

Perosnally I have been going back and forth between the Fabspeed Maxflow and Bypass (30 minute procedure) and without the bypass a GT3 is only half the fun.

The Titanium ones sound really ideal except not at $16K! Wait till you hear the engine cold!!!

I don't think there's a clearance issue with the cats on the Kreisseig. I just can't figure out where the pressure-cooker on-off switch is and where the Jacuzzi control can be found. I haven't seen this much plumbing since I re-did my bathroom...

In any case, it's a beautiful piece of work, hope you enjoy it. I should get my Ti race system from the same distributor within a few days, will post pix.

Re the Fab#$@&* muffler bypass pipes-- They're really meant for guys who track a LOT; for the street you might be happier with their small muffler setup, which can be hooked up easily to cat bypass pipes for track days.

Tom, the bypass pipes are LOUD. My GF wouldn't let me take the car out yesterday, something to do with it being Easter and pissing off all the neighbors (the weather sucked, so I didn't argue). In the city, it echos off all the buildings and sets off car alarms. Drove through a tunnel the other day, gave a little throttle and it sounded like the whole thing was going to crumble around me. You get the idea...

Only way to know if it's right for you is to bolt them on.

They're especially loud when the car is cold.

Oh..! DCLee, you got that meisterschaft Ti??
I was seriously considering that as well. I am sure you will be very happy with that system as well. Those are supposed to be very popular for folks who have GT3 RS version in europe and Japan. Enjoy it~! and show me some photos when you get them.. these exhausts are just crazy :-)

Meisterschaft, ja!

Yes, I got the "race" system with the manifolds, cats, and the Ti mufflers. I am putting this on a GT3 that is being turned into an RS clone (with a much better suspension than the factory RS, however). Hopefully, this will be buttoned up in the next two weeks and I will be able to post some pix of the exhaust system and the car. We are going to the track in mid-May to test the setup.

Nice nice, I am also thinking about getting one of those manifolds as well. What I heard from them, the header should bolt right up with my system, too.. :-) Let me know what you think of the headers. After I have seen these units in person, I do not doubt their quality but I just want to hear opinions of others too.

They are really really loud, but I can't live without them for more than a few days. They are great for a 15 minute blast around the block and for track use but not around town. On a long 3-4 hour drive I use earplugs.

I think the "proper" exahust system for you is Kreissieg. Flick the swtich for supercup sound, and then back to daily use. For me I am getting the weight down and $16K for a muffler seems way too much.

is that good or bad?
I thought these tips were kinda cool....

The tips are divided into 2 chambers - one for normal gas pass and the other for f-1 mode gas pass..
