What is the limitiations on angle of driveway for Carrera GT

BenLJ and others - I am building a new home and will have a Carrera GT delivered once it is complete -- but I am concerned that the grade/angle of approach on the slope in the driveway will be too severe.

I can engineer whatever I want in terms of slope in all likelihood, but want to see what others have done --

Thanks.

I'm not sure how to quantify this for you. That said, it will have to be very gradual - even if you plan to take it up and down at an angle.

You can get by with a more, you would just have to be more careful.

OK - Now the weird question -- if I BACK it up the slope would I have more clearance?

maybe. i can't pull mine into the garage frontways without bottoming the front but i can back it in (and clear the nose by 1/4 to 1/2")

I know a perfect way to fix the problem. Park it in my driveway.

build your driveway the same level as your street then once your on your driveway hit a button and it will raise to the height of your garage. That way you wont have any angles, all horizontal driving.

Or you could do what I want to do when I build a house have the garage under my house, when I pull into my driveway it will lower to my underground garage.

Both ideas are not very feasible but IMO way cool.

NYC and parts North on occassion - Its the parts North that concern me. I may need to get some aluminum rails to bridge the span.
