Thanks! WIll keep that in mind when I get a GT3(RS) car and track it. Appreciate the feedback.

as usual best approach is to find a good shop that services gt3 and cup cars and just follow their advice - good mechanics know way more of what is good and what is not.

Final post on this thread from me. The GT3 is Porsche's track car drivable on the street. The brakes on all Porsches have been developed for track use to be able to handle the car's performance (based on engine output) when used properly. The stock parts are more than adequate for someone starting out to learn HPDE. Going to racing pads and other mods (race tires, etc) start to create more issues (squealing pads, brakes and tires have to be heated up before they work, too low to the ground, etc.). The only worthwhile additions are safety equipment and fire-extinguisher, and Motul 600 brake fluid change. JMO.

I took my car out to local track for first time this afternoon. Last minute invite by local dealership for some track time for the day. The car was amazing, as is. Much more manageable than my turbo. Smooth and predictable acceleration, braking, and handling. I am still grinning after a long week. I got to enjoy my newly installed rss xpipe exhaust screaming at 150 mph and 8,000 rpm's. Pretty damn cool.

1) Want to confirm the beautiful howl of the RSS Xpipe.
2) Now that you have driven the factory alignment, please get a good race shop that knows GT3s to do a mixed street-DE alignment and corner balance for you, it will transform the car. The factory settings are often goofy even for street use
3) Go for the hi-temp brake fluid
4) Your grin means it is time for GT2 seats, Schroth harnesses, and GMG World Challenge Bar - stiffens chassis, no squeaks, excellent quality
5) Sparco Tide gloves - you'll love the volcano grip
6) Nitto NT-01s
7) Fire extinguisher
Done.
