I am very excited to be a Porsche owner again. I have previously owned a 1980 SC and a 1979 930. I purchased a GTR in 09 and enjoyed it immensely, the power and handling were intoxicating but I longed for the Porsche experience again. I drove an 04 TT and an 07 GT3 and was blown away with the GT3. I found a very nice 08 GT3 at Larson Porsche in Tacoma with local history, 6600 mile and ceramic brakes. I drove the 50 miles home with a huge grin on my face. I am excited to be a part of 6SpeedonLine. Jeff

You down graded???
Hahaha but seriously congrats and enjoy. You will love the delicacy of the GT3. Very different to the GTR... I love both for very very different reasons.
But my current infatuation is the GTR....

Congrats! I will be very interested in hearing your comparison of the two cars once you have more seat time in the GT3. I'm thinking the GT3 will be my next car when it is time to move on from my GT-R.

Gt3
Similar to my story...Sold my 996 GT2 and picked up a 2010 GT-R (I modded both). Missed the GT feel recently sold my GT-R and bought a 2011 .2 GT3 RS....loving it! Can't beat the feel of a GT3. The GTR was surprising good though and probably a better dd but if you like driving and want to track it, GT3 is hard to beat. I'm keeping this RS for a while...famous last words. Enjoy your GT3.
