Farewell RS hello SL

Well guys, after a few years of tracking my RS to death, I have finally parted ways with it. Impulsive as ever, I started off buying a GTR to compliment the RS, but as time went on I used the RS less and less.

And then the maintenance bills of both the RS and the GTR began to mount... and a thought hit me... why not consolidate the two track cars into one... and buy a Superleggera. A car that had intrigued me for quite a few years now.

So after tracking down a rare white example, a deal was sealed and the RS and the GTR traded for the Gallardo SL.

Was a great ride, and a wonderful experience in the RS. Hope that I will be able to report the same on the SL soon.... cheers and take care guys. Will wait for the 991 RS to rejoin the fold

Some pics of the new SL (with the spare track wheels on while I await delivery of the Ultraleggera rims in black)

Good luck with your new toy. Biggest issue you will have on the street is the other drivers snapping cell phone pics of you and ridding your *** everywhere. the 911 has the snap and the performance without the accident causing head turns. this is why i did the gt2rs vs the LP640. Most dont know what an RS is

Great choice and great track car. Throw the LOC or Fabspeed exhaust on it and it wails on the track.
