new GT3RS owner, question about heat

Hi All,
I picked up my new GT3RS this weekend and I had a question about cooling down after driving. I'm coming from a 997.2 C2S and I'm familiar with the cooling fan coming on after a long/spirited drives on hot days.

I noticed the GT3RS does the same, but even without driving particularly hard or after driving for that long. It continues turning on and off for considerably longer than the C2S does (~30 minutes). I assume this is normal?

Owners in consistently hot areas like SoCal, AZ, TX, FL, do you all do anything special?

My garage is pretty stuffy so I'm thinking I'll let the car cool down outside first.

Normal here in So CA. After a run on very hot days, I leave the garage door open about a foot, and even use a fan to dissipate the heat. Enjoy!

Thanks for the replies guys, it's been unusually hot here in NorCal this weekend. Always nice to know things are normal

If it's only on for 30 minutes, then you aren't driving hard enough.

That's something to look forward to when I've put some more miles on the car.
