Big booty for the 997.1 GT3 and some special cf sauce too!

I had some folks ask me to post pics of my car and I finally got around to it. Awhile back I had an incident where I damaged the driver's side of my beloved GT3. Wanting to make lemonade out of lemons, I decided it would be a great excuse for the widebody conversion I'd been wanting to do, not to mention ditching the useless (on a GT3 anyway) sunroof. GMG Racing pointed me in the direction of Coastline Autosport in Santa Ana, California. When I spoke to Sal, the owner of Coastline, he told me that the widebody would not be much more trouble if we are doing work on one side already.
Next, Sal and his crew proceeded to tear the factory quarters and rockers off, to be replaced with OEM Porsche RS quarter panels and GT2 rockers. To do so car was placed on a Porsche spec fixture to avoid any warpage while removing the quarters. Since the fender had also received road rash, I looked at options and decided on a pair of GMG's cf fenders. As I mentioned, I had been wanting to do something about the sunroof and they managed to install a cf roof section that came out looking like a factory job. The rear bumper was also updated with the 997.2 LED's and both bumpers were replaced with Porsche Cup car versions with spring-loaded tow hooks.
In addition to the aforementioned items, the mirrors were replaced with cf versions, as well as the rear wingblade. Adjustable GMG Racing suspension links were installed as well. I figured, while I was at it, might as well do some lightweight rims/tires and the 19's were replaced with some 18's on sticky Nitto NT01's. A bunch more little things were done as well but its a bit much to list. I made it a point to leave the GT3 wing, as I was not comfortable "posing" as an RS, since the car was delivered as a GT3. Also, I really like how the narrower wing emphasizes the wider fenders that much more.
Here's some pics:

Awesome!!! Are you running the same wheel/tire sizes/offsets as you normally would on the front with those fenders?

Beautiful car! I really can't understand why Porsche hasn't offered a CF roof option like the M3's do. They'd obviously be able to charge a HUGE premium for it and I bet it would be very popular. I LOVE the look of a CF roof. I really can't think of anything I'd do differently. Congrats and enjoy in good health!

Wow..that came out GREAT. Love the wide body, and that CF roof gives the car a "Targa" look without the weight and hassle of the sliding glass. Well done.
