When i was looking at the new 997, i was speaking to the dealership about having a white CGT made, they said it would be possible in about 3 months, as long as it is not paint to sample. Also there is a 25000 air frieght avaliable i believe

For what it's worth
Just spoke to Porsche, we can still get a GT ordered to customer specs. It would need to be quickly though. If someone were actually interested in doing so that is! Hint, Hint!!

i say to get white if you can find it for around the same price you are paying on a silver one. a white CGT would look absolutely amazing... you don't even need to photoshop it, I will garauntee it. And in the event that it comes out bad you can just give it to me, no problem

true, but the black rubber (weatherstripping, etc) usually seems to bleed onto white.

That is correct. We are on the West Coast of Fla. I will do anything possible price wise, but understand that the dealer moving a GT at $416K is probably trying to get rid of unspoken for inventory that is landing soon. I would say with 99% confidence that I could work a similar deal on a silver/terracotta that is in transit to me. But on a paint to sample that is being ordered from scratch long after the cutoff date?????? That is iffy. I would need more of a commintment from Arling or any other interested party to even pursue price negotiations.
