Centerlock Conversion

Centerlock Conversion
All,
My local shop (Cantrell Motorsports in WA) did a conversion on a 2011 GT3 RS from the street (sucky) centerlocks to the Cup Car (simple and track proven) centerlock.
Has anyone else done that or considered it? It didn't sound like the parts cost too much (aside from replacing the wheels) and it only takes about a days work to get it all changed over.
Thoughts?

There really is no need to do the cup conversion, especially for a street car that only sees track use every once in a while or on weekend.
If you were doing endurance racing and required the additional reliability of the cup style centerlock conversion that would be one thing but at that point you would most likely have a cup car and not be racing a road car.
Now if you have a 5 bolt car 997.1 and want to go centerlocks than you might as well do the cup conversion..

Makes sense, I decided to stick with the stock CLs. Thanks Fabryce.
