Tire rack tests the Michelin PSS

Read the Pilot Super Sport test report here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=148. I think they like the PSS. I'll be mounting a set of these very shortly as a dual-use street/track tire.

I have them and like them. I honestly think i will run of talent on the track before they run out of grip.

The PSS also seems to be getting very good reviews on track. I'm hearing from users (check out the GT2/GT3 forum on Rennlist) that they are not far behind the Sport Cups in performance on dry surfaces and much better in the wet. And they are much longer lasting.

I just ordered a set from Tire Rack and will have them mounted up next week. I'll be on the track with them a couple weeks after that.

Any word on the latest from Michelin if these will come in the 325/30-19 early 2012? (I had checked a few postings and saw no recent updates).

Thanks!

I have these on my GT3, they are a great all around tire, no complaints at all. The tread wear is pretty amazing for a tire with this much grip.

As for the question comparing them to RE-11. While not the same car, I have RE-11 on my heavily modded M3. Im running serious suspension mods on the M3, including JRZ RS Pro DAs (race version), and from driving both cars, the RE-11 have more dry grip, but def dont last as long. The RE-11 is also a harder ride.
