Who's mentioning names here?

One thing we do know is that certain reckless idiots caused things like "Operation Safe Canyons" to go into effect. Try driving along Mulholland on a Sunday and see how many more CHP you see now.

No names but why pick on him and what he has to do with everything ?

Last time I looked it up Mulholland HWY was a PUBLIC road, it means that good drivers like you and lot's of morons on bikes and cars were sharing the same road rightfully.
It's not like because of a few idiots kiling themself the CHP shut off Willow Springs or California Speedway, it is not our sand box as we like to see it.
I remember back at the late 90's we used to terorize Angeles Crest, every now and then after few bad accidents the CHP would crack down on the bikers and keep us away for awhile until the activity on the mountain came down then it was back to normal.
It's a cycle we need to learn to leave with.

The CHP were trying to do it in cyclical intervals. Unfortunately, the residents and cops have gotten so pissed off at the large number of accidents and fatalities that the patrols will be out there for the near future, which is a shame to those of us who want to carve the canyons a bit without getting to the point of reckless endangerment.

The reason why a certain SY GT2 is targeted is because his reckless disregard for laws and safety poses a real threat to other drivers and pedestrians, if you have been on a drive with him, you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm going to leave it at that...

They were having periodic crackdowns and news stories about racing up there when I was in college down there thirty years ago . It's been the recurring issue of those roads since the 1930s, just revived every few years by the newest generation of hot shoe drivers, annoyed residents , johnny come to town lately news editors and reactionary cop officials/politicians !

So where is the shame ? the fatalities or the CHP, I didn't get it.

I never been on a drive with him but his concern for safety on the TQ events realy got my attention.

Just got back from taking a short cut on Mulholland. There was a 350Z stuffed into the wall a ways before you get to Kanan. There must of been 30 other of them, obviously part of a club. No Chps around but they should be back in full force again after that one.

Hamann7 ,

You don't have to worry about SY any more.
I think it's HISTORY now.
