It looks like the right rear tire went off and just caused oversteer. That does suck. At least this happened on a "track", though.

I t looks like his right rear tire got over the white line onto the grass a little bit, and that how he lost the traction.
Matt we answer it at the same time

Two things:
1) Thank God for Porsche engineering
2) Thank God for guard rails

Btw IMHO he lost the rear just after the apex as he went over the small crest (carried too much speed for his skill set as the car got lighter) but never corrected his slide until ultimately it was too late.

Not at all. You can take a minivan on that track for about 5 Euros. It's considered a public road with an open speed limit. All other rules apply such as stay to the right if not passing, etc.

that was a nice size hit...droped the outside front wheel, corrected by turning into the curve, once the car caught it threw him cross track and then bounced back across...seem it many times on track with students - we try to teach the proper way to go off track or slow the car down and bring it back on track once you've dropped a wheel, an abbrupt high spped correction is sure to casue a cross-track spin...
