Thinking about switching from F430 to 997.2 GT3
#16
for what reason? I have been on the track with several GT2 and GT3 with my F430, and while I can not say I smoked them, I can say I was racing in 103 degree temp with a spider and the AC on!!! - and they never caught me. They came pretty close in some long straights, but I left them behind in the twists.

I'm curious. What do you dislike about the 430?

I'm thinking about doing the same. So far, I don't think I like the 991 and the 991 GT3/GT3 RS is still quite far away, so I might get a 997.2 GT3 RS if I can find the right one. I know I will miss the F430 but I won't miss the attention that car draws.

well lets try to even the driver out a bit... the ring times for the gt2 is 7 .32
the scud is 7 .39 not exactly the same driver but they should be close. id hope.
ohh i forgot to mention my buddy slid off the track and his sideskirt cost 10k. lol
id wait for a 991 gt3/gt2 tbh.

F430 to GT3 - did that...
No regrets here - sold the 2007 F430 6-speed coupe and took delivery on the 2011 GT3 last October. Absolutely no regrets. I've had 7 Ferraris and truly believe they are out of my system...I keep coming back to the Porsche.
