Pilot sports Cup + help please.

Hello to all Porsche owners,

I am not a Porsche owner but i have a Geniune question, so please don't shout at me

This is my toys by the way,

May be one day i will get a GT3 RS

My question is,

I ordered on E-bay two brand new tyres 235/35/19 Cup + for my M3 CSL only to find out that the Sport Cup + do not do the right size for the CSL at the back (Only normal Cups do)

I as well found out that they are Porsche rating N1 when i went to a BMW CSL forum, but i am not sure what car they are for as they are N2's two.

Could you please share me some light on this, as i want to advertise them but want to be able to answer the right things to potential Buyers and put the right add for them.

Are they GT2, GT3, sizes or do they fit all? Is N1 different than N2. I asked the tyre fitter who came to put the tyres on my M3 and he couldn't answer those questions

Sorry for all this questions and thank you.

Eduardo.

Hi Eduardo, those tyres are standard fitment on the 2010+ GT3... They will also work on the 997.1 GT3, RS and GT2 if the owner is running the N1 spec of the tyre... The original cups on the 2007 GT3 were N0 or the first generation. Those N1s are the current (second generation) cups.... To my knowledge there is no N2 cup tyre as yet unless the wider RS, GT2 sizes were given that code number...

Eduardo, was that picture taken at Eau Rouge at Spa?

If so, you're a lucky man. I went to a F1 race there and would LOVE to drive that track.
