SharkWerks in the US of A and now in the UK?!
This guards red 2010 GT3 came in for the SharkWerks Exhaust and our larger 88mm ceramic-coated tips. Also on the menu was the EVOMSit performance software, tuned for 91 octane.
They do look so good in red don't they?
Although those tips are a bit puny?
Matching red belts and red stitching is rather lovely too!
Off comes the rear apron to get access to the heat shields:
With the heat shields off you can easily tackle the exhaust nuts:
An hour later and armed with the SharkWerks street exhaust, which retains the use of the sport button/valves and still drops 18 pounds of weight:
Reading the current issue of Total 911 Magazine and it seems as though our friends over in the UK, Regal Autosport, are also installing one of exhausts on a red MK2 GT3:
No really they are and a great bunch of blokes too:
Told you we'd do something about those weeny stock tips! Here's our 88mm tips instead:
The stock file is then read out via the OBDII port and EVOMSit tools. Once coded and adjusted the new performance file is uploaded:
Then off she goes; another MK2 Shark-Werked GT3 which should be hitting the odd local Auto-X and race track shortly!
Sounds just like this on the 3.8L engine:
