My 997 GT3 RS Europipe Race Exhaust Review

My first mod on the GT3 RS was the Europipe race exhaust was looking for something loud and settled with this and to be honest im am pleased with what i have purchased

So i contacted Europipe and was very pleased with such welcoming customer service from Stef and his brother Herman ordered the GT3 RS Track exhaust .. packaging and built wise was a 10/10 ranking IMO

Took the car to G-Force a local specialist in high end cars with a very highly qualified staff where i did the installation in.

My review of the Europipe Race Exhaust:

1- Very loud exhaust, to me i can manage driving it anytime to others i dont think so

2- A little bit of drone not that noticeable IMO

3- Blips are epic

4- Music can be heard from radio while cruising

5- Conversation in the car isn't an issue

A very big thank you for Europipe Race Exhaust + G-FORCE + Sharkwerks for their amazing missile black coated tips

enough talking more action pics and video at the end feel free to comment ..

The Europipe Track Exhaust box

Ready for installation ..

From underneath the monster lays the stock exhaust with my sharky aftermarket 3.5inch missile tips black powder coated.

Off goes the tail light.

The bumper ..

Look how big this thing is!!

Comparing stock vs Europipe

off goes the exhaust ..

In goes the Europipe ..

Sharky tips.

and out she goes!

+1. I concur with the OP. Should have done a before and after dyno for a pleasant surprise. Weight savings is another major factor for this exhaust. I have one on my .2 RS and can't take it off. Many will say it's too loud, not me.

the weight saving is a whopping 25.5kg from the rear. i know people got the car on a dyno before and after and it really increased in power due to same diameter in length as the stock exhaust so no back pressure is lost just more HP gains

...don't forget the bang for the buck pricing. Also, you retained your stock header and cats so no CEL's. Then again, you could have spent another $10k for a full blown evolution system from company "A" that would be heavier and did not produce as much power. Good choice

That sounds GREAT!!! You cannot beat the sound of normally aspirated engines. It's the price us turbo-charged owners pay. Congrats on a great car and set-up. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great...! I always thought that removing the mufflers would considerably lower the backpressure and actually decrease the power and torque numbers...?

Usually this can be true in the lower rpm range you can lose torque but around 5000rpm to redline you gain some hp if the stock exhaust is very restrictive.
