thinking of putting GT2 seats in my TT. Would love to be able to see if I can fit my fat *** in them before I take the leap.

If there's anyone around that woulnd't mind me spending a few minutes in the seat, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

There is a guy in the Albany NY area where I live that owns one, but I don't know if he'd let anyone sit in it. One of the cars alongside his CGT and other dozen or so p-cars he's collected.

I can put a word in with the sales rep that sold him the car at the local dealer as I know him personally and see if Norm will allow a "butt-fit" for you I'll email him tonight.

You don't know if he'd let anyone sit in it? It's a car, not his wife. I think i'd just rather shoot myself if I ever got to the point where I wouldn't let someone sit in my car. But thanks anyway!

Believe me I'm on the same boat with your thoughts there. Chris just got back to me and said "snowballs chance in hell" with getting Nrom to be ok with this so apparently my option for you is slim at best. Guess the guy is a bit quirk(I don't know the guy myself).

Chris did mention he'd ask around his connections to see if there was someone else who is running these seats in their car and get back to me.

Will also add that my 6'3" skinny *** 150lb frame fits in them with some room to spare, ~33" waist. Yeah, I'm a toothpick for reference!

If you're on LI I'm sure you can find one at Roslyn, South Shore, Huntington, etc. Just visit their sites and check new/used inventory or do a search on cars.com

Are you talking about the carbon fiber seats?
I have an 08 997 GT2 with the carbon fiber seats. They are a little snug but actually are very comfortable. They were a little too low for me so I lifted the alcantara and put some padding under it and now they are perfect.
I live in North Jersey in a town called Montville, it is near Wayne NJ and about a half hour from the GW bridge. You would be more than welcome to come and sit in the seats and see how they feel.
My name is Tony and my email is ilnino@aol.com.

My RS has the same chairs - it lives up at DeMan Motorsports in Blauvelt. If you happen to be near there I can ask the guys to let you sit in it no problem.
