20" Sizing on GT3.1
Just wondering if anyone is running 20's on their GT3.1, and have the following information:
I am looking at 20x8.5 front, 20x12 in the rear, and putting 325/25/20 rubber on the rears. I know, many do not like 20's on the GT3, but I am looking at 5 spoke charcoal colour design, and think it will look sharp. I will keep the OEM's for any tracking, or look for 18's for that purpose in the future.
Does anyway know what the offsets are for these 20" wheels, to maintain the OEM "flushness" to the fender edge? I do not want to rub and do not anticipate any lowering at all in the future.
Appreciate your thoughts..........

Go to www.tirerack.com and punch in the model etc...., u could spend days on that site and explore all of your tire / wheel options.

My GT3.1 came shod with TechArt Formulas, rear: 20 x 11, offset = 55 mm. Front: 20 x 8.5, offset = 52 mm.
Using Continental ContisportContact 3: rear: 305/25/20, front: 235/30/20.
The 20 x 11 rear fills out the wheel well adequately enough for my eye while still keeping the 305 tire width. I don't know enough about tire aspect ratios, etc but if you stray too far from OEM size, you will negatively affect suspension, could get tire rubbing on fenders and a slew of other problems. As others have mentioned, please defer to the dealer whom you will be ordering from, preferably one of our forum sponsors here.
At first, they looked too big and too "blingy" for the car but they have grown on me. I almost sold them but now I consider them "dressy" wheels... you know for those Saturday night cruises or dinner dates with the wife!
I have 18" CCWs for work, ie. track days...
Best,
E.
