FORMULA 43 introduces the latest Club Sport wheel in 19"

Using FEA analysis, Formula 43 has identified additional areas to reduce weight without compromising strength. By carefully sculpting the side of each spoke of the radial ten spoke design, creating an I-Beam that is linear and aligns each lug pocket with a spoke, weight is reduced by 0.6lbs.

The first set was built for Musante Motorsports for a 996 GT3 track car. Below are pics of the wheels and car at the annual 48hrs of Sebring PCA race.

The wheels feature the Race Bead Blast option, all black anodized finish and black valve stems.

Why a 19 on a 996-3 track car?

 

Can only imagine how small the centers/wheels would look in 18".
For tracking in 18's would prefer a monoblock wheel design.

btw PJS, I really love your avatar. That's the '09 RSR engine I believe. The exhaust design is awesome.

Just a wild guess, looks like the car runs aftermarket brake setup.. maybe the setup needs 19" rims to clear?
