Thanks for all your input guys.

I think I am going to get the Carrera S w/ aero kit, PCCB and x51 package...

It might not be as much fun as a GT3, but I think I will be happy.

Except for ground clearance issues, the GT3 is a great daily driver.

20C4S,
Did the ankle thing last spring, 7 screws and a plate to repair 2 brakes. Doc said the clutch work was great exercise. Tried to write the GT3 off as therapy, medical expense . No problems this summer.

I suffered a pylon fracture on my left ankle w/subsequent screws and plates and the realization that morphine isn't that great.

Is it an issue? Going to check two GT3' out tomorrow.

I can speak only from my experience. Initially there was some discomfort but as the doc recommended, I kept at it and now is no problem at all. Funny thing, I experienced very little pain just a VERY loud snap, like a tree limb braking, and it was all over. The hospital had a menu of pain killers and a couple of nurses that really knew how to take care of you. The worst part of the whole thing was loosing the sumer and not driving the new GT3 sitting 20 feet away.
