Okay, that was AWESOME! I guess the new RSR is not too competitive, but who cares I'd still love to rock that thing...the look, the sound is just perfect!

I'm curious, in what way is the RSR not competitive? Thanks.

They're competitive, just not as dominate in the upper GT classes this year.

The BMW M3 and Corvette are faster than both the Lizards and Falken in recent races and both have the new RSR with top drivers.

Partially being the only 6 cylinder in the series, and being the oldest chassis. Also having a significantly smaller wheelbase. FIA handed the class to the bmw's and is oh so slowly removing the advantages.

The Corvette's have big torque and big wheelbases, as does the Ferrari (wheelbase) and its just plain nasty. Will be hard to beat for a long time.

The 991 needs to bring it.

The FIA has changed the rules and it does't help porsche in any way, so much so that Manthey is't even running a works gt3 at this weekends nurburgruing 24hr. As heavychevy says the new rules really suit BMW and other manufacturers but definately not porsche. Still would't bet against a Manthey private team winning this years nurburgring 24hrs!!
