Forgive my ignorance but, is that a replica or a fully restored 356? My dream combo right there!

No ignorance there at all... that is my son's replica 356, what he can afford!

I think I would almost prefer a replica. Put a fresh Super 90 in it and it will perform every bit as well as the original at a fraction of the price. I wouldn't feel any shame in putting 70 thousand miles on a replica, but an original speedster would have to be kept under lock and key.

I'd have to agree. A replica would suit my needs for a unique, classic weekender. Beautifully fun cars.
