From 996 Turbo to a 997.2 GT3
I sold my paint to sample bugatti blue (I really miss that color) 996 Turbo and got a white '11 GT3 with 2500 miles on it.
I picked up the car and drove it 900 miles from NJ to GA. Wow, what a car! Only thing I miss is the low end torque of the turbo but everything else, there is no comparison.
Now for pics.
My old smurf mobile.
A worthy successor!!!

Love the exhaust system & it also looks as though you have the front nose lift as well. Great looking car!!

Comparison.
GT3 loves to rev.
Doesn't feel fast until you are doing over 6000rpm.
When you get around 8000rpm, the car screams.
Hard to describe but it's awesome.
Front end feels solid, no floaty feeling. You can feel what the front tires are doing.
Brakes are simply awesome. Pedal feel, stopping power. Way overkill for the street.
Even though I upgraded the 996tt to 6 piston, 997 turbo 350mm rotor brake setup, there is no comparison.
Everything feels solid. Suspension feels well balanced. I won't know how it performs on the track but the shocks feel great on the street. Firm but not harsh.
Simply put, the only thing I miss compared to the 996tt is the low end torque.
Everything else, there is no comparison. It's so much better.
