GT3RS Mk2 with Porsche Tequipment Carbon goodies @ SharkWerks
This grey/red themed 2011 GT3RS came into us for a bit of track-preparation including the RSS 930 roll bar, Schroth 6-point belts the SharkWerks fire extinguisher kit. Also on tap, the RSS rear suspension links as well as our exhaust and the EVOMSit software. Wearing the Porsche Tequipment carbon hood and side mirrors she's quite a looker!
In she comes; she's grey and red but her livery is a little different:
Out with those seats, the center console, steering wheel etc...
In goes the 930 roll bar, which attaches to the rear shock towers:
Now with the Schroth Harnesses:
The SharkWerks fire extinguisher is set up to work with the Brey Krause sub belt bracket:
And installed:
The factory links in the rear have neoprene/rubber bushings:
The upper adjustable RSS links with the solid ends:
The lower Bump/Toe-steer kit is also added along with lock out plates to keep the toe-angle consistent:
The factory exhaust already sounds pretty good but those of us in the know prefer to remove it:
That's going to give the sound we're looking for. You still retain the sport button function so you can turn it on or off. It's lighter too and when tuned with the EVOMSit software she gets a nice bump in power/response:
There's carbon fiber and then there's Porsche factory carbon fiber. Look at that perfect fit:
And the mirrors:
Ready for her next track event in NorCal:
She sounds a good bit like this:
