Finally had the courage to mount my GoPro externally. Was really impressed with the quality, especially the sound clarity. Not much matches the amazing sound of the 996 GT3 engine at full-throttle.

Very nice. The sound might be even better if you try a mounting location closer to the exhaust. At the track last week, I saw a setup where they guy had the GoPro on the roof and an external microphone feed coming from the back of the car. Pretty cool.
