997.2 GT3 Rocker Panel Respray
Evening guys (GMT +2!),
I've been a reader of these forums for years, but I've never registered. I recently bought a 2010 997.2 GT3 (prev had an '07 4S) - and I'm absolutely blown away by the car. It is the embodiment of everything I've ever wanted in a sports car!
To the point, at just 5000km, the rocker panels have already taken a pretty serious beating - especially below the stone guards on the rear quarter panels! The intention is to have this section resprayed and wrapped in VPS shield film.
As the rockers / rear quarter panel run from the bottom right up to the top of the car - how far up would one need to take the spray job? Would they blend over the angle where the rocker / rear quarter meet, or does this involve respraying the whole darn quarter panel?
