Laser Jammer
With a cop-magnet like the GT3 that gets you way too quickly above the speed limit, you'd better be safe than sorry (and yes, observing speed limits is safe too ).
This time, I have installed the new Blinder HP-905 Compact Laser Jammer. I have had Blinder jammers before and they did a good job. The new sensors a very compact and the 4-way switch very practical.
I liked my previous Escort 9500ci that was nicely integrated in the car, but I had to go through a bunch of menu's to turn off the laser shifting traveling to TN or SC and the laser detector generated false alerts. The Escort 9500ix + Blinder is a good combo for me.

Rennline goodies
Have installed a Rennline pedal set. I love the heel toe extension, especially with the PCCB being so sensitive.

Also (re-)discovered in my garage that I had purchased a front strut bar for my Cayman R (that was actually a 997/987 part)... Not sure the GT3 really needs it but I hope it is now put to good use

Also got front (and center radiator) mesh grilles installed. Not very easy to see on the pic:

A couple more goodies from Rennline scheduled for this week: wheel studs, solid engine mounts and tow hook for the track!

Thanks Eric!
Eric @ Bumperplugs has been as helpful as usual by recommending the new Dension 500S to improve the capabilities of my PCM 2.1:

It is surely not as sleek as a PCM3, but the iPod functionality works fine and the bluetooth and A2DP streaming too. I gave some thoughts to this and decided to go with the Dension accessory vs. installing an aftermarket headunit that would look a lot less stock. I would have gone the other way if there was a single aftermarket headunit that had a nice and sober interface. Have not found anything to my taste yet...

There is no substitute...
BIG Porsche crest mod
The Porsche crest on the hood was no longer as shiny as it once was, and I got it replaced by the new and smoother version.

Also complemented this with outrageously cheap valve stem caps .

Tint
I probably forgot to mention that I got tint installed (35% crystalline for the side- and backlites).

This will do for this week!
I do not have plans to do a lot more (firm one or two things up, go to a more aggressive alignment, intall a drop in filter -because it is so easy- and apply a 'track theme' for a few weeks).

Online from FVD Brombacher but probably available from many different sources. Direct swap with stock GT3 lip spoiler. 10 minutes install

Yup, did the same on mine to protect the radiator from track debris.

$579 online from Bumperplugs.com (if you are not sure about what you need for your car, just leave them a message and Eric will get back to you promptly). A couple of hours for the install max... probably less as it is pretty much plug and play.
