How to lease a GT3 from private seller?

I'm trying to get into a 997.2 GT3, looking to lease it and write off as company expense, then buy out at the end. but I don't really want to go through PFS because the high rate. Got a quote on a used 2010 GT3 $98K, PFS lease is 15xx/mo plus tax, 60 months, residual 32xxx. this is like 30k of interest. might as well finance it.

is there an alternative to lease a used GT3 with more reasonable rate? is it possible to do it with a private seller?

Please give me some recommendations! Thanks guys!

That is a horrible residual, why lease just buy the car and finance for 72-84 months and have a payment @ $1300 month...

You don't have to lease to write it off as a company expense. I'm a finance manager for a dealer so if you need help with something let me know.

I know. leasing a used Porsche with PFS doesn't make much sense. What do you suggest that i should do if i want to use company money to pay for the car? i know i can buy it as company asset, but then have to deal with depreciation...etc. my CPA hates it.

LarryP, thanks for the info. I'll give Bobby a call on monday.

I wouldn't buy it as a company asset because of depreciation. I would buy the car and write it off under the company in your taxes. I write of my leased vehicle every year as business expense using my leased car for work purposes LOL.

Your CPA should be able to advise you on the most efficient way to buy and write off the car (depending on whether you are an S Corporation, an LLC or another type of business). There is no magic formula. If you own the business YOU are still paying all of the bills.
