Hmm.. coffee vs. stab the loud pedal repeatedly....a dilemma for sure. I know I'm torn just thinking about it. LOL

Thumbs up Daily driver
in Los Angeles every other day. Trade off w/ my M3. Find the GT3 slightly harsher but much more engaging.

Cup holders work fine.

Theres a pen holder, doesn't mean you write as you drive. If you are holding a hot liquid and you are suprised your brain will try and assess the risk between getting burned or taking avoiding action... if it was a child thats just run out in front of you chances are you will collect them...can you live with that!!!??? Driving is for concentration and dedicated time, leave the coffee, eating, mobile phone, Sat nav, Radio, hand bag searches, make-up etc until you are parked and you can devote your time to these tasks. There's even clothes hooks.... will you get dressed while driving??

Lots of studies out there that prove your reactions and decisions WILL be impaired.

Its your life BUT what will YOU inflict on OTHERS?!

I'd drive my every day but my commute to work is a bit too far, but I drive it as often as I can.

Daily Driver GT3
I have using my 2004 SY GT3 AA a daily driver for the last 3-4 years.
Certainly both fun and painful trying to avoid road imperfections.

My car is mostly a DD, though I ride my motorcycle quite often as well. I might get something else to drive soon, maybe an air cooled P-Car...
Good thing my car has the front lift, the roads here are pretty good, but even then it's a must
Getting into gas stations, with the lift on, one of my front wheels usually goes up in the air(laughs)
Does anyone else notice that?

The chassis is that stiff along with stiff rollbars and springs the car turns into a Terrier at every lamp post lol!

I'm going on 7 years with a GT3 as a daily driver. Started with the 996GT3, and have had the 2010 997GT3 for almost 4 years now. My commute is two blocks, and I don't leave La Jolla often. The lift function added to the 997 is a godsend. And the ride is VERY rough, to the point I avoid some streets here in La Jolla. Also, my dental bills are higher since my fillings tend to shake out.

A GT3 as a daily driver does involve some torture but is it serviceable. I'm not looking forward to the drive to Laguna Seca in a few weeks.
