Enzos still going for double, F430s and spiders for up to 100K USD premium and even some F360s slightly over or at MSRP...

The argument its a business, they need to make money etc. is flawed cause Ferrari is a business too and doesnt just build cars for fun...They seem to care more about their reputation and how their select owners...oh well
Not in Europe. Only in North America are people prepared to pay so much money for an italian sports car. Here is Europe used Modenas go for the same prices as the 996TTs. However, if people are willing to pay astronomical amounts of cash (compared to Porsche´s prices) to get their hands on a Ferrari, it´s their choice.

Tiger woods' Porsches

I found an article on The Dupont Registry from www.blvdcustoms.com
selling Tiger wood's 2005 Carrera Gt for $595,000.00 and you get the 2001 911 Turbo with 2900 miles he used to drive Free
Is this a Joke or what???? you can easily save at least 50 grand buying the same vehicles somewhere else. is it normal for someone to jack up the price that much just because acelebrity owned it???

I could not find anything on their site but is on the Registry of August.

i agree with mansour...its a little crazy but when it is all said and done, it really comes down to you the buyer and whether or not you want the car, not whether or not you can make a profit or recover your costs in the future. buy the car at any price b/c you personally love it.

Recently,Porsche's do not have a sterling reputation for resale in the US. They build too many and often introduced models to compete with another model line. They all have the me to look. Many buyers back out of the CGT in fear of what Porsche would do to compromise the value of the car.

They did not have to wait long.

Porsche flooded ( this is a relative term considering this is a limited production supercar) the CGT market here in the States to avoid airbag standards in 2006.

nickie,

fewaji isnt perfect either
-fell off the wagon in F1
-ugly f430 junior enzo
-super ugly 612 failure for 280k
-spy photos indicate 575 maranello replacement will be fugly also

and the cheapo GMC Z06 kicks the sh.t out of your $200K 430 in all around performance as proven by its 7.43 at the ring

maybe you should get a maybach for exclusivity!!!

My dear Watt, you know what I wrote is true because you did not dispute it. Regarding the 430 Ferrari this much I know. There are more buyers than cars available and those of us who have the ugly and crappy looking 430 are laughing all the way to the bank.

Regarding performance, using the logic of your argument then the Donkerforrt which beat the CGT by an astonishing 19 sec around the Ring is a better car than the CGT. Is that what you are arguing?

Lapping the 'ring is one measure of performance, and certainly seems to be the yardstick by which a lot of people rate cars.

My standards are much more subjective, and I stand behind my choice of Carrera GT. I have yet to drive a 430 (or even a 360 for that matter!) but I am sure that it is also an amazing car to drive. I would never choose a Donkervoort to drive, even for fun, as I am a slave to creature comforts, and the Carrera GT provides just enough of them to appease my Dionysian standards.

FWIW, I am lukewarm on the look of the 430. However, my wife thinks they look amazing, and when we saw a few at a car dealership in Springfield, MO she asked me why I didn't get one of those instead of the Carrera GT

apparently yea because u can't blame for the owner having a big *** but at least don't pee in the car or at least wipe it off before taking picture. also, u can't blame him for scrape the undercarriage but hey at least open ur door more carefully u might hit the Camry next to u. bottomline, looks like he doesn't give a f**k about it which is cool. but if anyone think that's a steal might as well jump on it cuz u'll be the next one who drive the **** out of it.
