Looking at a CGT in Ventura and need a PPI ASAP, any recommendations?

 

There are SEVERAL great shops in SoCal, but I don't know of any in Ventura. If you can have it trailored down a ways, you could have GMG give it a good look over. With a car this nice and expensive, I would think it would be worth doing. Good luck and congratulations on your future CGT Purchase!

try Tom @ Lucent Motor in W. LA. He knows CGT inside and out - Tell him David w white gt3 sent ya. There are other shops that are excellent.

Several ways to do proper PPI on these kind cars. Just lifting the car up and getting a paint meter is not it. Proper PPI takes HOURS and HOURS and HOURS... dont get ripped off. Do your research.

One of the places I got PPI done in socal - not done thoroughly. I got lucky since car was a virgin.

As some one had mentioned, It will take hours to do a proper inspection. With so few around, I would guess some shops have never even turned a wrench on one...let alone knowing that one has to 'tie' the CGT down while on the lift- if not I can wonder how the CGT looks falling off the lift.
I would take it to an authorized dealer that has a certified Master Tech that has been trained on it....you get what you pay for.
