Grabbed a GT-3 allocation today

My Omaha dealer, despite good qualifying 911 sales, only received two GT-3
allocations. One for a build in December 2013, and the second for a build
a full year later in December 2014. His first allocation was already spoken for. The second person in line dropped out due to the delay. I decided to take the
December 2014 build as I want a paint to sample car which isn't available as an option right away. Also any initial manufacturing problems should be worked out by then, if any, and hopefully CF bucket seats will become an option by then.

All dealers received email Sunday/Monday with allocation numbers through December 2014.

I spoke with almost 40 dealerships today hunting an allocaiton for myself. I'm still hunting, but should have one by tomorrow night.

Total number of cars is very small for the first year, approximately 800. 918 buyers are getting some as well, but it is unclear to me if their allotment is coming out of the 800 or on top of the 800 - I've seen conflicting reports.

Most dealers are selling at MSRP though I found a couple as high as $20k over.

20 over would be a bad idea IMO. Value won't hold in 24 months.

I was shocked to get a call today; I got a car. Now I guess I have to decide what color I want... I'm thinking aqua blue (paint to sample)... Maybe GT silver...

I wish they have the club sport kit over here.

Certainly 20k over MSRP would be insane. I did not take that offer, found an allocation for 2nd qtr 2014 at MSRP and have placed a deposit.

Any one looking for a GT-3? I was contacted by Mike Diaz of Aristocrat Porsche in Kansas City. They had one available GT-3, but I'd already committed to Omaha. I bought my 09 C2S there and they treated me well.
