Thanks! I need to take a better current picture once the weather improves here.

Owning a GT3 was my dream as well after a spirited ride in a friend's brand new 2004 model. It "only" took seven years for the dream to materialize but it was worth the wait. For street use I can't imagine wanting more performance than this car delivers.

But would I rather have a RS? Probably - if it was an equally well-kept unmodified orange 997.1 RS which was my cost-no-object dream Porsche. But I couldn't and can't justify the much higher price these bring since my tracking days ended long ago and I'm not concerned with resale value.

Hey Jack I also am a +50yr old 7.1 owner in the N Atlanta/Cumming area. I have a Artic Silver 08 with 8800 miles and a sharky bypass as well which I have owned for several years. Like you, I have no interest in tracking (been there done that) but if you ever want to head up to the mountains for a semi spirited drive let me know. I can probably wrestle up a few others as well. Mine is coming off CPO in July and Goldcrest will be handling my maintenance and upgrades as well.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks, David - sounds like a plan!

I do need some new rear tires (PS2's) before a spirited mountain run. My car has a whopping 38K miles which is "high mileage" in the GT3 universe.

Sounds like a great way to shake off the winter. I've heard there are some outstanding roads in the N GA area. The end of March first of April I'm hoping to make it down the Dragon on a Mon/Tue for a couple of days.

The Dragon is certainly very cool - just be cautious making the loop through Tn back into Ga....they love to pull Pcars over there....
