CGT approach angle and overhang

True story,
I had my driveway resurfaced, a process that took 2 months with all the engineers and contractors going back and forth. getting permits, phone tag, meetings, etc. I had been driving the CGT for about 3 months prior to this but figured the minor scraping and the unsightly cracks in the driveway needed an upgrade.
After all was said and done, the day my new driveway was poured the car was sold. Driveway looks great (except for the mauve tinge these bozos insist is Porcelain Gray), but I'll always wonder if the CGT would not have scraped. I say this because my replacement car, a 997 Cab S also scrapes a little.
Boy I would off been pissed if the the CGT still scraped after all that. I think you have to change the street angle to the driveway to get a GUARANTEED solution to the problem. Of which is probably impossible due to ordinances, etc. Otherwise I think the engineers and contractors are like salesman; they'll say anything. This project is a specialized request. It's not your typical sidewalk replacement. You should definitely find out their experience in resurfacing driveways to keep low profile vehicles from scraping. And check references or you'll be pissed after spending at least $25K for the project (That front lip on the CGT can be replaced ~50 times for $25K).
