Maybe a stupid question (CGT Shiftknob)

How come the CGT uses a wooden shiftknob, I'm sure it has something to do with history, can someone explain?

From what i know the Carrera GT has the wooden shiftknob to represent the older race cars such as the 917K which didnt use Carfan Fibre, but used light Balsa wood for the interior etc.

Is that blue shower cap your newest contraceptive invention? Hilarious

Serious, is the shifter a little too high? Seems like it.

Arling I like the shower cap, atleast you won't see another on the street!

I've look thought the CGT options list couple months ago. There were tons of options. Some of them were simliar to 996s but price is 4-5 time more. Colour to sample is $23000CAD, painted wheels $5500CAD. Some of them were weir, such as leather seats rails??
