Sport Buckets for U.S.?

Well, time to try and get an update... has anyone heard when these will become available? I am passing on allocations until its available. I rely more on this site than I do the dealerships info!

My dealer told me this weekend that they are never going to available for the GT3 ever. Says RS will have them. GT3 is essentially done, any car made is already sold.

Except that there's still 6 months of production left for the 2014's and then on to the 2015's.

I know, but the car is all presold. They're not likely to crash test and certify a new seat for a car that's sold out. Just passing what the dealer said.

dealers are often the last to hear the truth. If its coming on the RS, there's not reason it cant come on the normal GT3. I'd bet that the crash test ratings actually apply to bother cars.

in the 997.2, you could get the sport buckets in just about any 911.

john weires is infamous around these parts
I want the CF seats for my on order GT3 and have bugged my dealer about their availability for over six months. Until recently they held out some small hope for me since my order is a MY2015.

Last week I visited my dealer in person.. They said the same thing that the GT3 would not be getting the sport bucket seats, but that the RS might.
It's possible they are wrong, but I do not believe they would purposely misinform me.

Such a shame. I'll buy the car and hope I can retrofit.

And will probably swap the GT3 for RS when available.
