GT2 RS/GT3 RS Advice Needed
#16
What a wonderful problem to have! Having driven all three (GT2, 2RS & 3RS) if I actually had a GT2RS I would never sell it. That is the top of the tree, a complete motor-car, nothing, nothing, goes like it, corners like it or stops like it!!

I sold my 3.8RS to get a 2RS so I went through the same thoughts. I took the 3.8RS on track like 10 or so times and it was an absolute blast, but I always had an itch for boost. So props on getting the biggest dog they put out
That said my plan for the 2RS is to enjoy it on the street and track it probably 2-3 times total just so I can experience but, I don't want it to be a total track car. I think with a good clear bra and frequent fluid changes to respect track duty you won't be doing the car any harm at all.
I completely agree with what KonKai said re: mentality: if you can't deal with stuffing it and walking away definitely do not track it at all.
This car will present some huge challenges with respect to throttle control/corner exit since it just explodes with power in the middle of the rpm band, but that's what makes it fun too right
My advice, just enjoy it as it was intended to, please don't let it be a garage queen. Mine won't (unless there's snow out!)

So now that i'm keeping the 2RS i have another problem. We're moving in a couple months and I was at the new house today. The curb at the driveway looks like it might be an issue. Have any of you faced this problem? If so, what did you do to safely clear it (no front axle lift in the 2RS)?

I drive my gt3 around on Baltimore City streets all of the time. every now and then I scuff the lower spoiler. I just figure to replace it once a year. they are inexpensive and easy to get.
you may be surprised how steep of in incline that you can go up if you approach at a sharp angle.
