My friends neighbor actually sold his F40 for his CGT, atleast from what i heard. He actually may have traded in the Gallardo on the CGT but im not 100% positive. All i know is that the F40 will always have a place in my heart, no matter how old it is. After seeing his F40 up close and seeing the carbon fiber weaves through the paint i was hooked.

In terms of rarity, the CGT might turn out to be more rare. 1300 F40's vs 1250 CGT's....
I think only 200 F40s were US models where there are a lot more US CGTs

That sounds about right. It's really hard to find a good F40 in the US.

Tough call, the F40 is very tempting today.

I really don't think many cars are ugly, but I hate the F50.

Being that the F40 is my favorite car of all time, my heart says that is the kicker. However, for the same reasons as many have stated above, for the more pratical, reasonable, high-tech supercar than go for the CGT. But how often does anyone on here make a practical or reasonable decision.

There is already one F40 (that I know of, personal friend) in Lexington. And to my knowledge, there are no CGTs, only one I have ever seen was at the dealer. For rarity I would say either one takes the cake.

F40 without a question -- but what a choice! The F40 is rare. It drives like a race car (as opposed to a high-tech car that corrects your driving defects). You will feel the road like no other car. The power is supposed to be just incredible.

The CGT is better in everyway unless your a car collector and dont want to drive often.

If your looking for a garage queen then go with F40

If your looking to drive a crazy fast street legal race car, then go with CGT...plus theres plenty of dealerships around to service your car.

Never driven either, so I wouldn't be able to give an accurate answer I guess.. However, I've always loved the F40 and there is no other car I want more.

Getting into custom tuning teaches you that less is more (in terms of electronics) - and that's why I love the F40. A drivers car.

CGT all the way! I do love the F40 but if I was choosing one it would be the CGT. Now if you have the money to buy either one you probably have the money to buy both! That would be the best option!
