Hard to argue with Joe. Must be buyers out there.

Would I take one....yeah with a nice price reduction. What 135-45k?
Two things I read and heard today... First - Of the 785 cars, I read only 200 + are in actual customer hands with the rest in post production, ports and dealer lots (all are pre-sold of course).

Second, a senior mechanic at Porsche thinks (I understand this is not confirmed by anyone at Porsche and will never be) that there was "no flaw" in the connecting rod bolt, its design or quality but rather a breakdown in the assembly and manufacture process that failed to tighten some of these connecting rod bolts. He said there are several heavily tracked 991 GT3s among his customers in which the problem did not surface but rather in two cars in Europe with only a few hundred street miles which leads him to suspect the bolts were not secured or torqued properly during assembly.

He also said it is likely that the GT3RS intro will be delayed as was reported because Porsche will cannibalize some of the engine cores/blocks for the RS to build more replacement engines for the GT3. Just passing along what I heard...
