991 GT3 for street - Z28 for track?

I've tracked a lot of cars and I just don't like tracking heavy cars no matter how fast they are. The Z28 is over 3,800 lbs. That car is going to eat tires, brakes, and not wear well. Even though it's fast I'd much rather track a GT3 or a dedicated race car.
That being said I'd love to own a Z28 as a fun street car. I had one as a kid and I love the new one; that is except the $75K price.
