My GT3 sits a lot unfortunately (not as much as Arling's, mind you) when I'm away, sometimes for a month or longer. How long does it take to set in? Anyone use tire cradles?

Guys, any time you want, I'll roll the car around for a few days to keep your tires nice and round. Just say the word. Hey, what're friends for?

We've kept cars still for up to 2 years w/ no flat spotting. Check out griots though, they have matts to prevent it

Mine sits for 2 weeks at a time sometimes and I notice a little shaking sometimes. Nothing a few miles of driving hasn't fixed. My BMW on the other hand flat spots after a week. Same PZero Rossos but probably a lot more weight being the issue.

your tires should not flat spot after a week. I actually really want to say it's impossible for your tires to flat spot from sitting for a week.

Paul my cousin has a C4S and has Champion 19's w. Pirelli's on it, he told me that the front end was vibrating after not driving it for 3-4 weeks, I asked him if he had washed it and he told me no as I was thinking that maybe he had loosend a wheel weight but it seems to me now that he may have flat spots.

The Michelin rep told me that parking on 2 layers of carpet will help avoid flat spots. In my experience some tires will temporarily flat spot in a month.

dame this is not good. My car sits some times over 2 moths at a time when I am out of the country. I need to try these carpet thing or just buy the Gritos mats. I feel it my car but it alway goes away after driving for 1 hr or so

What kind of statement is that? I am telling you that they flat spot because there is a vibration in my old Porsche for the first few miles of driving that goes away once the tires get warmed up. The BMW is even worse because the steering wheel shakes side to side for the first few miles of driving. My SL500 did the same thing. It happens each and every time the cars sit for a while. Not overnight but after a week to 2 weeks. Whatever you believe is impossible or not is irrelevent as I am the one that owns these cars and experiences these issues.
