GT3, a 5 year old ferrari would scare me in regards to maintenance. like 204cs said, the GT3 is pretty bulletproof and the initial owners have already taken most of the depreciation hit.
it's good to see pro skaters getting paid closer to what they're worth in comparison to other pro athletes. i remember when caine's integra was the hot sh** in '98 or whatever, that thing's laughable compared to what a lot of you guys are rolling these days.

A 360 with 10K miles would have everyone scared... oh the maintenence!!
A GT3 with 10K miles would be considered barely broke in. for 60% of the cost.
Of course if you can really find a no story 360 with low miles for 100K then you are doing well. I have yet to see hardly any below the 150K mark but I am not looking.
There are 2 or three in the Dupont registry in the 130K range but have almost 20K miles -all the others have less than 10K most less than 5K miles. thats a hard choice- I would buy a 360 with 15K miles for 100k IF there were books of documentation that every problem and service have been completed.
(I would just stick with my GT3)

It's great and all but I'd take a GT2 over it any day of the week. Once you've had boost it's hard to not have it... THe 360 is more... I don't know sexy? It sounds great. It feels great. It gets you laid. It's even not that fast but does feel fast. It's tempremental. It's tail-happy... but I kinda like it. I love the CS. Go F-car and try something different!

The CS is PURE SEX
A GT2 is the ultimate street fighter ... fast, looks, reputation but still doesn't have the overall presence to spin your head like a CS
A GT3 is great if you are a track junkie, for a street car, it will get boring real fast. It is not fast enough for what it lacks in visual appeal.
Since I'm not a street fighter and can't afford the CS (not yet), I will settle for a 360 setup for the canyons and it should have enough visual impact to still spin some heads.
Oh yeah, I'm selling my GT2

Have you sold it yet? I am surprised it has taken this long, it is a beautiful car at a great price.
So, you are going to a 360. What color will you choose? F1 or manual?

Not sure what color 360 I'll end up with ... depends on what's available within my budget ... I'd like to get into either Red,Yellow or some kind of Blue.

While GT3 may be set up for the track initially. There is a lot more tuning potential to make the TT or GT2 much quicker than the GT3. That combined with a good suspension, setup properly on the correct settings(you know what I mean by that). When you mod a TT or GT2, the tuning potential is much easier to be walking away from Gt3's and when comparing it to the TT it can be done for a cheaper overall price. Looks are obviously a big factor, since you are also looking at a Ferrari, the widebody Porsche is drop dead sexy.

Well to each his own for sure. But it just doesn't make a lot of sense to pay a 120 k for a new TT or 130k for a used GT2....Then drop another 10 or 20 k getting them to their "potential" when you can buy a 100k new GT3 or an 85k used one,....and keep up those modded up to their "potential" TTs and 2s at the track, and cruise on the road when you want...
I have no problem keeping up with 500hp TTs in my run group (same skill drivers) They do pull me on the straights, but under braking is absolutely no contest
Now I agree, the widebody Porsche is a work of art.....moreso with the older 993s , but the 996 widebody is beautiful also.
F cars.......its just me, but never have excited me at all. They are beautiful, sound super......but if I could buy any car in the world, it would make my top ten.

Do you really think a GT3 can run with a GT2??? and I'm talking about a showroom stock car .... after mods to get the GT2 to it's "potential", you may want to run with someone else
And a GT2 has a better ride for street cruising.
