I've been told by a friend at Porsche that it will be a Porsche/Evo kit that includes reducing the compression slightly and adding the turbos an exhaust and some other components. They are estimating around 600 hp at the flywheel and 530 to 540 RWHP. Estimated price tag, 25K. We'll see.

Why not just take a GT2, modify the suspension, put some lighter wheels and exhaust and some other little tid bits, do the Ruf R Turbo 550 kit and call it a day? That will give you 550 to the wheels with a very flat torque curve... Yes, you might be out 40 grand or so, but you will have a superior car.
Putting a turbo on a GT3 will really change the character of the car, I'm not convinced you'll really like it.
If you want a fast GT3, do the Manthey racing stroker motor (4.0L) or the Koro 4.6 or 4.9L kit. Guarantee you that either of those setups will be far superior to a turbocharged GT3.
If cost is no object, have Manthey or Alzen build you a GT2-based race car, which is good enough to set the lap record for qualifying during the VLN 24H Nurburgring!

Have you talked to anyone who did the Koro motor swap? It'd be interesting to hear some real-world usage reports. I saw all the prelim info and hype over in Europe a year ago, but nothing since. If you have any more current info, shoot me an email if you would. Thx.

I've been told that the stroker/bore kits can have a very negative effect on the cylinder walls. Susceptible to block cracks. I am curious if anyone has any follow up info on this. I would really appreciate any guidance on the subject.
