Although I was a little lazy with my search, I gave it the ol' college try in searching for info.

What's the general consensus as to when these will start getting delivered? I've decided this is the car I want, but not sure if I want to wait until Oct or Nov as speculated in other threads. If the GT3 production is ending in Feb to make way for the RS, it seems they should be here before summer, but it appears they're still shaking it down.

I almost think I like the regular GT3 better than the RS. The RS is just almost too much for me if that's really the car...

Well I'm dealing with Canadian pricing, so I'm thinking around 205k with some options.

I saw that, but most believe he meant a totally new motor compared to the last RS 4.0 (no Mezger). It will still be a 9A1 variant, or do people actually believe that Porsche, frustrated with 2cars catching fire, decided to develop, test and produce a totally new motor in 8 months for their flagship track car?

My money is on it being a 4.0 variant of the current 3.8. It will be a totally new motor for the RS line, just like it was for the GT3.
