Hey guys,
had to chime in...
nice shot first of all!
and we were not doing a 100 in San Clemente...
at least I don't remember...
Sorry about getting us off to a quick start...
not everyday you get to have a CGT, a Dodge Viper Coupe (which was very very quick), a CLS 500, a M3, a 944 turbo and lil ol me...
just too freakin' awesome to pass up a little spirited driving...
if you go to page 2 for the S4 Avant - you think he could have caught us even if he did see us?
The slowest we ended up going was through Pendelton - go figure...
when I looked in my mirror one time...
all I could see was cars going everywhere like a 10-plane dogfight...
thank goodness the traffic was nil to none...
other than the joker in the pickup...
great group!
great meet and greet.
the cars! man the cars!
You name it it was there...
must have been close to $40 million dollars worth of cars there this morning...
Paul, it was nice to see you streach out the legs on the Yellow rocket...
drive home was full of traffic and really was nothing like the drive up...
see you guys again.
Once again, thanks!
I had a blast!
Sincerely,

sorry for taking so long...

Its worth the 3 clicks to download: http://www.redroxband.com/CCnov19.zip

Credits for in-car pics go to Brandon. Video coming tomorrow. As you can see, the road is very bumpy and hard to keep it from shaking and blurring.

ENJOY!

Hey.... you're talking about me . Unless you guys were literally flying the whole way, I would have caught up eventually! My car's no rocket but it's no slouch. An s4 avant wouldn't have had any problem catching most of you guys, either. I think you underestimate audi's, just like everyone else seems to.

I don't think any of us went any faster than 65, it was just dark sky and bright lights that made it seem faster.
